Sheikh Hamdan said: “In line with the directives of Mohammed Bin Rashid at the last meeting of the Dubai Council to completely restructure a municipality, we have today approved the new structure of the Dubai municipality by creating 4 new institutions, separating monitoring and strengthening governance, and by transforming 8 core activities. be in partnership with the private sector and create opportunities worth 10 billion Dhs.
Sheikh Hamdan added, “The new structure of the municipality includes an environment institution, a facility management institution, a construction licensing institution and a waste management institution… The aim is to establish partnerships, to achieve financial viability and to develop services that achieve an unprecedented quality of life… Dubai Municipality is the mother of institutions and their development contributes to the march of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan also called on the leaders of the new institutions to start strategizing and implementing plans in line with the vision and ambitions of the Emirate of Dubai.
