Mux Recognized for Best Company Culture with Comparable Price

SAN FRANCISCO, December 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — multiplexer, the leading developer video platform, today announced that it has won a Comparably 2021 award in the Best Company Culture category. Mux received an A+ culture score, ranking in the top 5% of companies on the Comparably platform.

The Best Company Culture award is based on employee sentiment ratings of 20 core culture measures, including compensation, benefits and benefits, team leadership, career growth and work-life balance. This year, more than 15 million reviews were submitted by 70,000 companies.

“Culture is one of the most important parts of any organization. It has a huge impact on who you are able to hire and retain, as well as how well you execute and innovate,” said Jon Dahl, Co-founder and CEO of Mux. “We strive to build a healthy, caring business, both because we believe it will make us more successful and because we believe it’s the right thing to do.”

Over the past year, Mux has grown its workforce by almost 170%, with employees joining all departments. In 2020, the company is committed to equal distance approach where employees who work from head office, from remote offices or from home are on an equal footing. Currently, 50% of Mux employees work remotely, while 50% are based out of San Francisco.

“One of the things that makes Mux great is that the people who work here appreciate the belonging, inclusiveness and importance of a representative team,” said Becca Axvig, personnel manager at Mux. “Our Talent and People Ops teams are corporate culture champions and enablers – owning initiatives such as Living Mux values and support from employee resource groups – but what makes our culture so strong is the shared responsibility of the entire team to build a distinctive and special workplace.”

“Out of tens of thousands of companies reviewed on our platform, employees made Mux one of the best places to work this year,” said Jason Nazar, CEO of Comparably. “The organization’s recognition is a testament to its exceptional workplace culture and leadership.”

Mux is recruiting for positions in its San Francisco Headquarter, London office, and remotely through United States and more London. If you are passionate about feeding online video and want to join the team, visit to learn more about current openings.
