Chimcomplex today announces the new structure of the Board of Directors which will lead to streamlining and improving the process of decision-making within the company and corporate governance.
Members of the Chimcomplex Board of Directors are leaders in different fields, bringing global expertise in the chemical, commercial, financial and auditing industry to strengthen the company. Two of the members are women and three of them are foreign citizens.
Together with Mr. Stefan Vuza, Chairman of the Board of Directors, they will establish the company’s strategy and oversee its implementation between August 2022 and 2023. At the same time, on August 12, 2022, the ordinary general meeting of shareholders has been convened . to approve the appointment of 2 other directors, the number of directors increasing from 5 to 7. The objective of the company is to attract more experts necessary for a good analysis in the decision-making process, knowing that the world market going through great turbulence.

Ms. Madeline Alexander, corporate director, with over 30 years of international experience in auditing and financial advisory for numerous local or international companies in various industries, including the chemical industry. Over the past 23 years of practice, Ms. Alexander has been a partner in Big 4 audit firms (Deloitte and KPMG). Ms. Alexander is accredited as a US GAAP and IFRS expert in the United States and Romania. She is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR), ASPAAS, CECCAR as well as Chartered Certified Accountant (CPA) in the United States of America. Ms. Alexander has dual Romanian and American nationality, and in addition to world-class expertise in auditing, finance and risk management, will also be the relationship developer with the international financial environment.
Mr. Gabriel Tischer, entrepreneur, has managed companies in very different industries for 20 years. The experience of the last 3 years in his first position in the public space, that of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sibiu International Airport, motivated him to develop his career, becoming the candidate of the German Democratic Forum in Sibiu for the post of President of the County Council of Sibiu.
Mr. Witold Urbanowski, CEO of CIECH Soda Romania for 9 years, is a specialist with more than 20 years of experience in operational management, restructuring processes and business administration in the chemical industry.
Ms. Veronica Preoteasa, has over 37 years of experience in the chemical industry, including 19 years in management positions, 10 years in polyurethane consulting and entrepreneurship in chemical trading and distribution. Ms. Preoteasa has developed her expertise in key areas of the chemical industry: marketing, investment, creation and launch of new products.
The company also announces that it is strengthening its team of consulting consultants by appointing Mr. Petru Nicolescu, engineer, as representative of the State of Romania.
Under the coordination of the new Board of Directors, Chimcomplex aims for leadership in all business segments, organic growth, new acquisitions, listing on international stock exchanges, further digitization and growing synergy between companies in the CRC group.
