Texas Renaissance Festival returns for 2021 in Montgomery County
TODD MISSION, TX – Montgomery County will showcase the sights and sounds of sword clashes and magical performances for most of the next two months as the Texas Renaissance Festival returns for 2021 on Saturday.
Texas Ren Fest runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from Oct. 9 through Nov. 28 and will also be open on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
It’s the largest Renaissance festival in the country, welcoming 500,000 guests a year to its 55 acres of festival space at 21778 FM 1774 in Todd Mission, Texas, just north of Magnolia. The festival is entering its 47th season and has been a Texas staple since 1974.
Presale tickets for the Texas Ren Fest cost $ 27 for Saturday and $ 22 for Sunday. Admission for children 12 and under is half-price on Saturdays and free on Sundays. On-site ticket purchase adds $ 5 per ticket. Preferential parking is available for $ 20 and valet parking for $ 40.

The Texas Ren Fest includes more than 400 stores selling a wide variety of craft items as well as 95 food and drink vendors representing cuisines from around the world.
There are 49 show numbers spread over 21 stages. The acts range from music and comedy to circus arts and combat demonstrations, making this great entertainment for people of all ages.
The festival also offers a wide range of Renaissance rides, games and activities, most of which cost between $ 3 and $ 5.
Each weekend has its own theme, including themes for Halloween and Christmas, and a corresponding daily costume contest. Here is the complete program for the duration of the festival.

New at Ren Fest
Texas Ren Fest is welcoming a new act and a handful of new food and drink vendors and stores in 2021.
The Theater of Fools is a new show at Ren Fest, starring Lloyd Brant and Rosie Cole. The Ren Fest website describes the act as a fusion of theater, magic, and fun of the circus arts.
Texas Ren Fest Escape Rooms is also making its debut, giving festival-goers the chance to test their problem-solving skills while taking shelter from the heat.
