East Sussex Circus School offers free workshops
The East Sussex School of Circus Arts, based in Hailsham, is working with the Department of Education and East Sussex County Council to provide these free experiences along with a free lunch.
The opportunity is open to any child or young person who benefits from free school meals linked to the services.
The Circus Skills Summer Camp will run July 26-30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Up to 10 children will be able to participate in the experience.
A spokesperson for the circus school said: “After the 10 places we will open a waiting list.
“All students must arrive at 9 am for a call.
“If the students are not at the East Sussex School of Circus Arts by 9:15 am, we will call you 15 minutes before contacting anyone on our waiting list.
“If you do not tell us that you are late after 9:15 am, your place will not be valid and we will offer this place to another child.”
The flying trapeze workshop will also take place from August 2 to 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Unlike the circus art workshop, 15 children will be able to participate in this experience.
All students must arrive at 8:15 am for a call and if you do not notify the school that you are late by that time your spot will be offered to someone else.
