The Generating Company originated from the Millennium Dome Central show team. The founding artistic directors were 4 of the principal performers from the Dome show originally led by Pierrot Bidon from Les Studios De Cirque de Marseille.
The Company created its first show 'Storm' at The Circus Space in 2001. Since then the Generating Company has gone from strength to strength and is running a busy producing schedule from its rehearsal rooms in East London. In 2006 and 2007 the Generating Company played to over a million people live and is now committed to large scale producing through till 2010 .
The company now led by Artistic Director Abigail Yeates has become internationally recognised for producing original physical circus productions. Training, Creation and Commercial show production is our core operation.
